We are fast approaching the end of January and what a fantastic start to the year it has been here at Alert-it.
Last month we ran an epilepsy awareness campaign highlighting the risks to those with epilepsy at Christmas.
Included were useful tips on preventing a seizure, spotting the varying signs and symptoms as well as how you could help someone in need of care.
Our How-To Guide was produced in conjunction with some of our epilepsy partners aimed at not only those with epilepsy but for those who know people with epilepsy and for anyone else keen to understand more about the condition.
The entire campaign received some great feedback. We would, therefore, like to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you Epilepsy Research UK, Young Epilepsy and everyone who helped and supported us? Without you this project would not have been possible.
Epilepsy Campaign Competition
As part of the campaign we ran a competition offering 3 lucky winners the chance to get their hands on one of our epilepsy support packages which included:
- Our tonic/clonic nocturnal seizure support monitor
- 1 safe-link pager
- 3 year warranty
- Full access to our support desk (once registered)
We received lots of worthy entries and last week Emma Tingley from Young Epilepsy, a national charity helping approximately 112,000 children and young people with epilepsy, picked the winners.? So congratulations to our 3 winners whose prizes will be delivered shortly:

More Good News for all our Who Entered
We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who applied to win one of the 3 epilepsy support packages. As a sign of our appreciation we would like to offer a 30% discount to anyone who entered the competition wishing to purchase an assistive technology product.
Assistive technology is the ideal solution for monitoring both the risks and activities for those who have epilepsy, as well as elderly people who wish to maintain their independence. Offering the individual as well as their family, friends, and carers peace of mind assistive technology notifies you of dangers in a safe and timely manner.
If you require assistive technology to help you there is a huge variety of products available on the market designed to relieve you of the worries of day to day life. Whilst the sheer number of products is fantastic it can often become a little overwhelming as you search for the right product for you. So much so that many question the decision they are making and whether this technology is something you can truly rely on for your specific needs.
Instead of a stressful search, keep an eye out for a company that not only sells you a product but also offers a personal advice based service too. All of our products are also available through local resellers who can offer you both advice and installation services, serving and repairs for your purchases. Even more their sales support gives you peace of mind far beyond the sale of a product.
So why not contact your local supplier below and speak to their expert support teams.
